I bought "Unlock Everything". How do I get it back on a new device?

The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple ID (App Store) or Google account (Google Play), so you never pay twice on the same store. On the new device:

  1. Open the game and go to the Shop.
  2. Tap Restore Purchase (under the Unlock Everything banner).
  3. Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought it with. Everything unlocks immediately.

Purchases don't cross stores: an App Store unlock restores on iPhones and iPads, a Google Play unlock restores on Android devices.

What does "Unlock Everything" actually include?

Every goofy hat, shirt, and tutu, every quote pack, every music pack, and every dream game, including new ones we add in future updates. It's the whole catalog, forever, for $3.99. Everything can also be earned with in-game credits by playing; the purchase just skips the wait.

How do I request a refund?

Apple handles all App Store payments, so refunds go through them rather than us: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, and choose the purchase. Apple usually responds within a day or two.

Talking Kitty Cat Box Cleanup

What is this game?

The 2011 original that started it all, lovingly rebuilt for modern iPhones: clean all ten litter boxes before one 60-second clock runs out, dodge Mr. and Mrs. Mouse, and get serenaded if you make it. It's completely free, with no purchases of any kind.

Where's my best run stored?

On your device, alongside your settings. It rides along in device backups; deleting the app deletes it.

How do I turn the music off?

Tap the speaker button in the top corner of the title screen. Sayings and sound effects keep playing so the kitty can still thank you.

Is my progress saved? Can I move it to another device?

Progress saves automatically on your device and rides along in device backups, so restoring a full backup onto a new phone brings it with you. There's no account system, so progress can't be synced between two devices, but The Pooper Scoopers' purchase can always be restored (see above).

Heads up: deleting an app deletes its save data.

The game has no sound!

Two things to check, in order:

  1. The in-game sound controls (in The Pooper Scoopers: the speaker icon on the day screen and in Just Games; in Talking Kitty: the speaker on the title screen).
  2. Your volume while the game is open.

Do the games have ads or need an account?

No ads, no accounts, no sign-in, no energy timers. One optional purchase in The Pooper Scoopers, and that's the entire business model. Details in the privacy policy.

What devices do they run on?

Any iPhone or iPad running iOS 16 or later. The Pooper Scoopers also runs on most recent Android phones and tablets via Google Play; Talking Kitty Cat Box Cleanup is iPhone-only. Both games play in portrait.
